Computers and personal data play an ever-increasing role in our society. For this reason, the cybersecurity of these computers and data are of vital importance. This project aims to provide clarity about the existence, scope and enforcement of legal cybersecurity obligations, in particular in the realm of the protection of personal data. It is looking at these cybersecurity issues from a legal perspective and answers the following questions: What parties are responsible for the cybersecurity? How can these obligations be enforced?
