Seema Murtuza is a PhD candidate at the International and European Law Department (Research Center for State and Law). Her research focuses on the right to repair smart products as a part of the twin digital and green transition in Europe. She is particularly interested in the interplay between law, sustainability and digitalisation.

Seema studied International and European law at Radboud University. After obtaining an interdisciplinary bachelor’s in law and business (with merit) from Riga Graduate School of Law, she graduated with a Masters specialising in business law (cum laude) from Radboud University.
